Maui part 2

Here's the continuation from my last blog...sorry for the delay, we've been a bit busy!


FRIDAY:
After we watched a night of volleyball games me, my dad, mom and my uncle Keali'i went to Bubba Gumps. I ordered the Shrimps Heaven which I shared with Uncle Keali'i because it was bigg. When it came to dessert we went to Stone Cold Creamy for some ice cream.

My mom ordered the "Oreo Overload." I didn't have any because after eating shrimp and then eating ice cream you will have a stomach ache, something my Mom had until 3am! We went back to the hotel to get some shut eye. Next up...

SATURDAY:

The Volleyball Tournament started first thing in the morning, we went to buy some snacks for the team and headed to the Lahaina Civic Center. The games were AWESOME, Lanai placed 4th out of 13 teams...Ccchhhooo! GO LANAI!!!

After the award ceremony we went to da pool! We headed to the bar and I had FREE smoothie, my dad and Uncle Keali'i had some adult beverages. Then the fun part comes...we went swimming!!!! My mom was sleeping up in the room when we went to the pool.

Our last night in Maui for dinner we went to eat at Sansei's. My mom invited my funky friends - Jade and Kaiu and one of her BFF's Aunty Koleka. Me and jade shared the ramin because we thought it was going to be big. But, it wasn't. We were still hungry after that. Kaiu, me,and jade wanted to have dessert because we were so hungry. We missed the lady asking if we wanted to have dessert because we were out side!! :(

We picked Essence up after dinner and brought her back to the hotel with us. She fell asleep instantly! Too much V-ball.


SUNDAY:
It's our last day in Maui. Mom and Dad drove to Kahului to do some shopping while we finished watching PERCY JACKSON and the LIGHTNING THIEF.


We went to Whalers Village and did some shopping and ate some McD's. When it was time to leave we went to the hotel and packed up and caught the ferry back to LNY. The trip is over. We're ready for our next trip, when that is we don't know!

A weekend in Maui

Yay!!! its my second day and i am really excited about the volleyball game. I HOPE WE WIN!! We got up early today so we can catch the 10:30am Expeditions Ferry. We all slept on the way over. Traveling with me is my mommie, my daddie, and my unco kealii. As soon as we got to Maui we got picked up and went straight to McDonald's. I'm loven it... Mmm good. We are staying at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. Our 2 bdrm suite is hugangous and beautiful. I'll take you on a tour, check out my video tour...I'm not a very good tour guide but did my best...

We relaxed and watched some TV before heading to the game. On a food network show they had to cook rattle snake meat!!! EWWWWW!! There was also a show where they made sesame street cakes. It's 3:oopm we have to go and watch my cuzin essence play volleyball. There will be alot of teams there so we might have to wait for a very long time. See you after the game!

Da Beginning

This is the beginning of my BLOG connection. Let me introduce myself, my name is Khyla Kawehilani Silva, age 12. I live on the Island of Lanai and go to Lanai High & Elementary School.

It was raining today...no school tomorrow, yipee!

WOW my very first blog i am so excited. We're packing our bags cuz tomorrow is the volley ball tournament in Maui and it is gonna be great. My couzin essence is going to be in it. During da summer i will be going to the mainland to spend time with my aunty lisa. She has a blog too but i just made mine today, she had hers for a very long time. My life right now is great. I have a awesome mother and father. We got 5 dogs, a turtle, and 2 fishes. My couzin lives with us. I LOVE them so very very very much.ummm... thats all i have to say sooo peace out!!! :p Off to the Sheraton Maui Resort, see you tomorrow!

TEENIE BOPPER GETAWAY for Essence's 14th Birthday!!!

Khyla's mommy here - posting a past event that took place in March. The Rugrats, Aunties and Uncle David went to Maui for a weekend to Celebrate Essence's 14th Birthday.

Khyla, Aunty Lei, Uncle David, Sheila, Mae Nalani and I picked Essence up in Wailuku, went shopping at Kaahumanu then headed to the Hyatt Maui Resort and Spa for some FUN IN the SUN!! We checked into our two Deluxe Ocean Front Rooms on the Regency Floor and enjoyed all the yummy amenities that were left in our rooms for us!

Throughout the weekend we lounged at the pool, went down the claustrophobic water slide, walked down the beach, greeted the resident Penguins and enjoyed the Regency Club amenities: Cocktail hour, continental breakfast and After Dinner Desserts and Cordials...did I mention this was all FREE???!!!!

The girls wanted to eat at Genki Sushi before going to the Glow in the Dark Mini Golf. My friends and former Conference Svcs peeps Katie and Dan met us there. Katie and I won free ice cream and took the girls out for some late night sweets! Thanks Dan for the free golf!

We all had a blast and wished this weekend wouldn't have ended so soon. I wonder what we have in store for Khyla's 13th birthday?!
